Terms & Conditions

Payments 

Payment is collected via square for health coaching services, for athletic therapy services payment options include square, e-transfer or cash. 

  • Payment for Athletic Therapy services is collected at the conclusion of an appointment

  • Payment for Athletic Therapy packages are collected upfront.

  • Health Coaching agreements can be paid for in full or on a monthly schedule. With monthly payments, the first payment is made upon signing of the contract or contract renewal with recurring payments collected at the beginning of the month. 

Missed Appointments 

For missed appointments clients have one emergency missed appointment/cancellation, after which a $25 fee will be charged for any subsequent missed bookings. 

**A 10 minute window will be applied to all services, after which they are considered missed appointments. 

Reschedule 

Booked appointments can be rescheduled within the 24-hour cancelation window. 

Missed appointments can be rebooked, but are subject to schedule availability. 

Cancellations 

There is a 24 hour cancellation window within which clients may cancel a booked service. 

For services cancelled less than 24 hours before the booking the following cancellation fee will be charged: 

  • Health coaching: $25.00 cancellation fee for book appointments. For agreement cancellations see the refund section below.

  • Athletic Therapy: 50% of the treatment fee.  


All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be done by contacting Mady directly via email or phone. 

Refunds

Athletic Therapy:

  • Athletic therapy sessions cannot be refunded once the appointment has begun. 

  • Athletic therapy packages can be refunded before the first session is used. 

Health Coaching: 

  • Payments for services used are non-refundable (ex. For a cancellation request 3 months into a 6 month agreement, the payment amount for the first 3 months is non-refundable)

  • There is a cancellation fee of $200.00 (the cost for 1 month of coaching)

  • With monthly payments the remaining payments will be cancelled, for PIF agreements the remaining amount can be refunded

General Terms and Conditions: 

Engagement of service with Fitness Redefined occur under the following terms and conditions. Any service specific terms and conditions, in addition to those outlined below, will be indicated on the booking page. 

Services are conducted within the appropriate scope of practice of an Athletic Therapist or Health Coach, and are not meant to replace the advice from your medical provider. Services should be used in conjunction with and not in lieu of advice from other health professionals. 

You are responsible for awareness of the condition of your health and fitness, and understand the potential risks of voluntary participation in treatments and programs implemented by Fitness Redefined. 


Please note we DO NOT diagnose conditions, but can work with you to implement medically guided plans for diagnosed conditions. 

By engaging in services offered by fitness redefined including but not limited to health coaching, exploration calls and athletic therapy services I acknowledge and agree to waive, release and discharge fitness redefined and its representatives from liability, expenses, injuries, damage or illness, that are foreseeable or not, as a result of engagement in services offered by the parties mentioned above.

Intellectual Property 

Fitness Redefined holds the rights to all intellectual property created and distributed by the business. By acknowledging these terms and conditions you agree to not use, copy or distribute this content without explicit permission. This includes content of the website, instagram page, any programming (exercise, nutrition, rehab etc.), any documents and templates specific to health coaching.

Governing Law

Agreement to services provided by Fitness Redefined shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province of Alberta and Canada, as applicable, and the parties hereto submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of the province of Alberta, judicial district of Calgary.
